Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description

  • Supervising Warehouse Staff:
    • Responsible for providing adequate training to the newly hired members.
    • Oversee warehouse team performance to ensure high-quality work is done.
    • Assert that warehouse and loading dock security teams are strictly following the security procedures to prevent theft.
  • Operations follow-up:
    • Arrange workflow based on work needs, as instructed by the warehouse manager, to ensure it runs smoothly and effectively.
    • Minimize overtime by allocating work tasks among the team in a balanced way based on workload.
    • Make sure that work operations, receiving, storing, transferring, and dispatching of goods, are done properly, following the company’s policy and procedures.
    • Ensure timely and accurate processing of daily in/ out transactions on ERP.
    • Monitor all physical incoming and outgoing transactions to ensure accurate stockkeeping.
    • Oversee warehouse facility utilization and storage capacity to secure the needed storage requirements.
    • Collaborate with the stock controller/accountant to locate and analyze stock variance, if any.
    • Supervise all forklift operations.
    • Ensure that facility equipment is properly maintained.
    • Organize and maintain inventory location and storage area.
  • Documentation & Reports:
    • Prepare a report twice a month reflecting the stock level of local and foreign products/ materials to be discussed with the Warehouse Manager.
    • Make periodic assessments of warehouse facilities to determine their efficiency in supporting warehouse and storage requirements.
    • Schedule/ conduct regular stocktaking to ensure that system records match the physical stock.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years in warehouse keeping.
  • Solid experience in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
  • Proficient knowledge of inventory controls.
  • Manual and ERP warehouse procedures processing is a must.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels of company staff.
  • Good command of English.
