Technical Office Engineer – Partitions

Job Description:

  • Participate in pre-qualification meetings and deliver technical presentations to clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct site surveys to assess project requirements and provide technical and design recommendations.
  • Review project specifications, tender documents, and client requirements to develop compliant technical proposals.
  • Select appropriate partition systems, raised floor solutions, materials, and finishes based on project requirements, technical standards, and company specifications.
  • Develop conceptual layouts, CAD drawings, and detailed shop drawings for partition and raised floor systems.
  • Review, coordinate, and revise shop drawings received from suppliers, main contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure technical accuracy and project compliance.
  • Perform quantity take-offs and quantity surveying for glass partitions, wooden partitions, and raised floor systems.
  • Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), coding sheets, and material schedules by extracting quantities from project drawings.
  • Revise and update design drawings based on client comments and consultant feedback until final approval is obtained.
  • Prepare installation layout drawings and issue them to the Project Management team for execution.
  • Coordinate with project managers, procurement, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth project implementation.
  • Monitor site activities and conduct regular site visits to verify that installation works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
  • Prepare Material Inspection Requests (MIR) following material delivery to site.
  • Prepare Work Inspection Requests (WIR) for consultant inspections and project handover.
  • Develop and submit as-built drawings upon project completion to reflect the final installed conditions.
  • Support project handover activities by conducting final inspections and ensuring all technical documentation is complete and approved.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards, client requirements, and applicable industry codes throughout all project phases.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Applied arts, interior design or relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in furniture, fit-out or partitions field.
  • Excellent user of AutoCAD and MS Office.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
