- Provide professional design, planning for commercial kitchens in hotels, resorts, and large-scale hospitality projects.
- Kitchen Designer, in charge but not limited to the following:A Kitchen Designer Engineer is responsible for engineering, detailing, and coordinating commercial kitchens so they function efficiently, safely, and comply with all technical, health, and fire regulations—especially critical in large hospitality projects.
They act as the bridge between client and company (T&D).
- Interpret the hotel’s F&B concepts and operational requirements into engineered kitchen designs
- Develop efficient kitchen layouts ensuring proper workflow, zoning, and ergonomics
- Coordinate kitchen layouts with architectural constraints and back-of-house planning
- Prepare detailed equipment schedules and technical data sheets
- Verify electrical, gas, water, drainage, and ventilation requirements for each item
- Coordinate kitchen requirements with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire engineers
- Resolve clashes between kitchen equipment, ducts, piping, and structure
- Ensure compliance with fire safety and life safety regulations
- Participate in BIM coordination and clash detection (where applicable)
- Maintain drawing accuracy through all design stages
- Support testing and commissioning of kitchen equipment
- Verify utilities, ventilation, and fire systems are functioning as designed
- Assist in final inspections and snag list closure
- Support kitchen handover and pre-opening readiness
- Represent the company in client meetings, presentations, and design coordination sessions
- Undertake domestic travel outside Cairo as required for project-related meetings and site inspections
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree of Architecture, Fine Arts or Applied Arts.
- 0-3 years of experience in kitchen/dressings designing or relevant field.
- Solid experience in Home/Office Furniture and Fixtures.
- Excellent Business English writing, reading &spoken.
- Excellent user for Microsoft office & Auto CAD.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills.
