Job Description: 

Warehouse Operations:

  • Ensure proper receiving, storing, transfer, and dispatching of goods.
  • Receive analysis sheet and packing list “from procurement and logistics departments” to validate physical count of received goods with container documents.
  • Follow up with logistics on receiving shipment arrival schedules in order to secure inhouse labors and plan casual worker if needed.
  • Monitor Sales & Projects departments’ movement requests to ensure products are shipped to the requested destination in a timely manner.
  • Establish & implement effective warehouse practices and protocols to achieve smooth & accurate flow of work.
  • Ensure safe use of warehouse equipment & facilities.
  • Responsible for efficient layout setup and space optimum utilization.

Inventory Control:

  • Develop & effectively implement inventory monitoring systems & procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy of goods inventory against system records by conducting regular physical count / inventory on periodic basis, following appropriate guidelines released by accounting and audit departments.
  • Collaborate with cost accountant to resolve and analyze inventory variance, if any.
  • Implement preventive countermeasures based on the result of inventory variance analysis.
  • Coordinate with concerned departments in maintaining minimum and maximum level of stock in warehouse based on market demand and sales forecast.” For kitchen spare parts”
  • Implement different methods like First-In First-Out (FIFO), if needed, in the warehousing and in dispatching items.

    Managing Warehouse Staff:

    • Allocate handling workers efficiently on organizing racks and shipping area, loading / downloading containers & trucks at warehouses and projects.
    • Audit on storekeeper recording for in/out stock and ensure that all transactions are being recorded on the same day, to have accurate stock balance.” immediate manual in/out receipts and on excel sheets and ERP same day”
    • Ensure that needed documents and reports by Finance are submitted accurately, on regular basis.” In & out receipt, transaction report & stock balance report”
    • Provide clear directions and general guidance to the staff in the formulation of basic policies and procedures.
    • Oversee that an updated and accurate records of personal custody are kept within the warehouse official documentation. “Mockups items, tools, PPEs, etc. “

    Storekeepers monitoring:

    • Oversee processing of received movement requests via mail.
    • Ensure storekeepers compliance with warehouse documentation procedures through ERP and hard documentation as well.
    • Ensure that all in & out goods are being cleaned, packed, and well loaded or putting ashore appropriately to reduce damages.
    • Audit on returned goods conditions and ensure that storekeeper make damage report if needed.

    Fleet Management:

    • Oversee fleet coordinator operations weekly plan, to optimize drivers’ allocation & vehicles daily routes.
    • Monitor fleet coordinator performance on handling regular Maintenance, Fuel cards charging, vehicles purchasing/ leasing, Insurance, Licensing and any other responsibilities lay under fleet operations function.

    Documentation & Reports:

    • Keep accurate records of warehouse activities.
    • Make sure that a file for each blue collar’s custodies is created & up to date.

    Produce daily reports for warehouse transactions & stock balance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration or any related field.
  • Solid experience in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
  • Manual and ERP warehouse procedures processing is a must.
  • 12-15 years of experience in a warehouse and minimum 3 years of experience in same position.
  • Good command of English.
  • Excellent user of MS office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and leadership skills.
