Sales Engineer

Job Description

    1. Sales
    • Achieve assigned sales targets by direct manager.
    • Responsible for handling and administering assigned Sales orders by the direct manager.
    • Present and actively follow up on quotations to secure business.
    • Utilize all opportunities to sell additional/certain products to clients according to the project budget.
    1. Submittal of Sales Order/Tender.
    • Prepare tenders, proposals, and quotations
    • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support.
    • Follow up with Design & Technical Office team on preparing technical, Design presentation with reference to client preference and budget.
    • Follow up with Tenders & Costing team to get the proper quotation in due time & ensure price quality.
    • Review issued proposal to ensure compliance of BOQ and product selection according client requirements.
    • Apply modification based on Direct Manager/ client feedback if needed.
    1. Oversee project / SO internal processing.
    • Process client PO once received.
    • Guarantee quality of work and client satisfaction.
    • Create sales order or project number on ERP
    • Raise request to Finance to issue Letter of Grantee if requested by client.
    • Submit proforma invoice to Procurement to confirm the purchasing process with suppliers.
    • Revise and confirm on packing list of order before shipping it by supplier.
    • Make sure that Project Manager receive coded Installation layout “plan” from Design team.
    • Release order according to installation plan from warehouse, by issuing movement request to project site.
    1. Documentation and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of quotes, projects and correspondence in company databases.
    • Create follow up report on running projects.

    • Shift to automated ERP process
    • Planned vs. Actual duration for each SO stage.

    • Adjustments To Schedule
    • Audit findings resolved by deadline.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree of Architecture, Fine Arts or Applied Arts
  • 2-5 years of experience in sales activities of FF&E or same field.
  • Solid experience in Home/Office Furniture and Fixtures.
  • Advanced Selling skills.
  • Excellent Business English writing, reading &spoken
  • Excellent user for Microsoft office, especially excel, power point & Auto CAD.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, & negotiation skills.
